Why Register for the Baden-Baden conference?
Registering for the Baden-Baden meeting on the website means that you will appear in the
directory of attendees. Other delegates use this directory and the search facility on the
website to locate the people that they need to speak to at the conference. Registered attendees
receive this directory together with the conference Welcome Pack prior to the conference.
It is important that the information that you enter is accurate. We are unable to check all
the entries so the information that you put in is what will appear in the directory. The
address that you enter is the address that we will send the Welcome Pack and directory to.
Registration is easy, simply choose a password - a word you will easily remember - and follow
the prompts on the screen. Once you have registered you will be able to use your password to
search the site for other attendees.
If there are several people registering from your company we recommend that you nominate one
person to administer all your delegate entries - this eliminates inconsistencies, for example,
in the "company name" field different people might register the same company as xyz Re, UK or
xyz Reinsurance, London and these entries would be listed separately in the directory.
How do I book a hotel?
Please note that we do not assist with hotel booking or recommendation - this is the responsibility
of delegates.
The hotels at Baden-Baden book up early for this event with many companies booking for next year
at the previous year's event. However there are usually rooms to be found in Baden-Baden and the
neighbouring towns. www.varta-guide.de is a good
place to start looking.

What do I do if my registration details change?
If your address or the hotel you are staying in changes then the site allows you to enter your
registered details and change them. You will need your password to do this.
What do I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password you can use the form on this page to send it to your username/email.

Who can attend?
The Baden-Baden meeting is open to everyone but most attendees are insurers/reinsurers and brokers.
Consultants, lawyers, ratings agencies, media and IT companies also regularly attend.
What happens at Baden-Baden?
Baden-Baden is basically a chance for cedants, brokers and reinsurers to get together to discuss
the renewal of reinsurance contracts prior to the major renewals season in January. Attendees
arrange their own meetings using the contact information published by The Review in the Baden-Baden
Meeting Directory.
Are there any formal proceedings?
There are no formal proceedings as such, but a number of companies hold evening receptions to which
invitations are issued.
